The mystery of how a dead whale was found in the middle of the Amazon Jungle has been solved. The humpback whale weighed 10 tonnes and was discovered in a woodland area of Brazil, which is about 50 feet from the sea.
The humpback was discovered in February 2019 on the island of Marajo. This island is at the mouth of the Amazon river. A team of specialists flew to the place to work out what happened and they have come up with their best guess.
