Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior was released in 1981 and came with many cool action scenes. Unfortunately not every stunt went to plan and there was one stunt that went totally wrong but was kept in the movie.
The movie has one of the raider on a motorcycle hit a car. He flies off the bike and cartwheels through the air toward the camera. It is a very cool stunt but was a real accident on set. Even though it was nearly fatal, it looked so good that the director, George Miller, decided to keep it in the final cut. Thankfully, the stuntman was fine after a trip to the hospital and has gone on to star in more movies. See the video below:
